What good, easy recipes an I make with veggie ';meatless ground';?

It's a ground beef substitute. I bought it to try but what does it taste good in?What good, easy recipes an I make with veggie ';meatless ground';?
one thing I've done with the veggie ground round is I make a big pot of chili in the slow cooker. I'll throw some cans of tomatoes, kidney beans, peppers, cayenne, chili powder, etc and toss in some ground round.let it go for about 6-8 hours - delicious! What good, easy recipes an I make with veggie ';meatless ground';?
:)

Another thing that works great in a slow cooker veggie chili is a product called TVP (textured vegetable protein)- you can find it in a lot of bulk food stores.CHEAP! I just toss it in dry with everything else and it will get soft and absorb the flavors of the chili over time, very tasty! Report Abuse

It's great in everything. I've used it in lasagna, spaghetti, hamburger helper, sloppy joes, tacos, and I've used it as a chicken substitute, too.
I would just toss it in a pan with a jar of spaghetti sauce and heat it up. Then serve over spaghetti. Or heat it with some chili powder and make tacos :)
Any recipe that uses minced meat?

Spaghetti bolognese, burritos, enchiladas, cottage pie..
