How'd they turn out?Have you ever made any recipes from any of the chefs on the food network?
Yes! Michael Smith, The Inn Chef.
The Ale Braised Chicken is to die for!Have you ever made any recipes from any of the chefs on the food network?
Heck yeah! Almost daily!
IMHO, the best, by far, is Ina Garten (Barefoot Contessa). I have never had a single one of her recipes fail. They all come out, they all look like the photos (online or in cookbooks), and all taste wonderful. I've probably made 35+ of her recipes, and all have been outstanding.
Everything I've made from Gaida DeLaurentis (Everyday Italian) is also good, although fewer of her dishes appeal to me that Ina's.
Tyler Florence is another good one. Great flavor and usually a unique twist w/o being fonky.
Paula Dean is hit or miss. Some things have been great, others downright nasty. Pick yoru recipes carefully.
paula deen i've made her crab cakes, bluberry coffee cake, mustard baked chicken, artichoke dip.
emeril has the best ever super stuffed shells i make all the time and everyone loves.
sandra lee i've made crab ravioli, sangria, chicken and dumplings, all of her stuff is half store bought and half homemade, sooo easy
I have made stuff from Rachel Ray, Sandra Lee, Tyler Florence, Paula Deen, and Giada. They all turned out great. I would put what I have made but there is too many to count! I love using the food network recipes!
I made Rachael Ray's prosciutto wrap around stuffed baby portabello mushroom and lemon meringue pie.
It turned out fabulous. What I did was get all the ingredients and finish baking the whole dinner. After I put a little of my own twist to it. For the prosciutto i used bacon and pastrami. I used regular mushrooms. I did not make lemon meringue pie I made chocolate pie.
I made Rachael Ray's dip with the bacon, swiss cheese, smoked almonds, etc.
It was very good - a few people asked for the recipe
My friend and also my mom-in-law do Rachel Ray recipes all the time.
I made a Puala Dean one for Christmas, and my sister-in-law did another one of Paula's and they both turned out really great.
Yes! The Emeril Lagasse, Paula Deen, and Giada di Lorentiis recipes we've done have all turned out wonderfully.
I have a friend who swears by Rachael Ray recipes.
yes i have Alton Brown's Southern Biscuits and Paula Deens Piggy Pudding.
Nope.
My grandmother had ';real'; recipes handed down from Italians and her family had a bakery, she ran a restaurant. Rachel Ray and Sandra Lee have nothing on my grandmother's cooking.
In the interim, I've picked up seafood recipes from my neighbors from Maine and I will gladly steal good stuff. Only my Tex-Mex, patitsa and real Mexican food takes more than 30-60 minutes. Everything else is a breeze, even from scratch.
yes
rachel ray's apple glazed pork chops,
but I revised it and used pinnapples instead of apples, and it turned out GREAT!
